WNWBL fires up for Final Round

This season has been a very competitive one with many past and future Australian representatives working hard to gain a spot in the National Team (Gliders) in the lead up to the 2010 World Wheelchair Basketball Championships held in July where the Gliders finished fourth. It is also great to see so many new players joining the league and we are sure that their experience will be valuable as well as fun.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Wheelchair Sports Associations for their ongoing support of the WNWBL. Thank you also to the players, coaches, officials, and volunteers who continue to commit to this league and a big welcome to those players and team staff joining us for the first time this season.

The League Advisory Committee continues to work hard behind the scenes to ensure the success of the WNWBL and we would like to thank them for all of their efforts.

Finally, best wishes to all players, teams and staff and thank you to all volunteers, officials and sponsors

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
