Australian teammates face off in Champions Cup
Rollers teammates Justin Eveson (Galatasaray), Brad Ness and Mike Hartnett (Lottomattica Elecom Rome), Bill Latham (CD Once Andalucia) and Shaun Norris (CD Once Fundosa Grupo) will go head-to-head as they vie for the Cup.
Latham is the only Aussie to be drawn in Group A, and will only meet his compatriots in the crossover rounds while the remaining four Australians fill spots in three of the four teams in Group B.
The Finals tip off today with the medal matches played on Sunday (CET). Bill Latham tips off the Aussie action when he takes the court against Great Britain side Aces WBC from 1.30pm CET while from 3.45pm CET Eveson takes on Ness and Hartnett at the same time Norris comes up against German side RSC Rollis Zwickau.
