Hawks Take Two in Quarter Finals and Move on to SBL Semi Finals
Perry Lakes Lady Hawks took the Wanneroo Wolves down in two games in the SBL quarter finals (88-71, 72-58) and now will take on Mandurah Magic in the semi finals. The Lady Hawks, who finished first, have a 1-1 record against Mandurah Magic, who finished fifth. In Round 10 Hawks won 74-43 in Mandurah, and in Round 12 the Magic got up 67-56 at Perry Lakes.
Game 1 will be held at Mandurah this Friday, 7th August at 7:30. Game 2 will be held at Perry Lakes Stadium on Friday 14th August, 7:30pm. Game 3, if required, will be played at Perry Lakes Stadium on Saturday 15th August. Tip-off 6:00pm.
Perry Lakes Hawks Men also took the quarter finals out in two games against Wanneroo (103-96, 112-95), and now meet Goldfields Giants. The Giants beat us 2-0 in the normal season, a 1 point thriller (76-77) in Round 2 at Kalgoorlie and at home on 12th July (94-108).
Game 1 for the Men will be at Perry Lakes this Saturday night, 8th August. Tip-off is 7:30pm. Game 2 will be played at Kalgoorlie on Saturday, 15th August at 7:30pm. Game 3, if required, will be played in Kalgoorlie on Sunday 16th August. Tip-off 12:00pm.
