Hawks Spirit

Hawks club spirit showed itself in many ways yesterday with players and supporters from all teams coming down to acknowledge the efforts of Hawks teams and players fighting out the grand finals and collecting their individual awards. Was a very nice touch to have some of our SBL Women, and coach Rick Morcom, come along to the 9:00am 14 Women grand final and cheer the girls along to the their stunning victory. For the 10:30 Women 16-2 you could not move around court 4, with supporters perched in every corner and down both sides. Many Hawks people stayed the whole day and used the boom sticks well to cheer on the 18-1 Men to their explosive and nail-biting 1 point win, and the Division 1 Men in the next time-slot. Was a nice touch for the Div 1 Men to have a cheer squad dressed in Hawks singlets.

THANK YOU everyone for getting involved and contributing to our club’s success.
