WABL teams take out 5 Championships for 2014
Perry Lakes Hawks had 7 teams playing off in Grand finals and were successful in taking out 5 of these Championships, in what was a great conclusion to the 2014 WABL season for the Club.
After our 14-1W touring team played and won their Grand Final last week, 6 other teams took to the courts at the WABC on Sunday and 4 of these teams came out victors.
We were successful in the W14-2; M16-2; M18-2 & M-D League teams and runners-up in W12-2 & W18. The Hawks also had 8 Northern Conference Champions, finishing top of the ladder at the conclusion of the home and away rounds.
Basketball WA also announced the WABL allstars for each age division and the MVP's for each age group. Hawks had 12 Allstars of which 2 were MVP's - Porscha Barnes from the W12-2 team and Blake Costello from the M14-2's. A list of all of our allstars is attached.
The day of Grand Finals culminated in our Hawks WABL wind-up and presentations.
