Welcome to our latest Hawks

Since the 2013 SBL season ended, some of our Hawks SBL players have been very busy away from the court.

It all started with our recently retired Lady Hawks captain – Belinda Mayger - on December 22nd with the arrival of Cooper Kevin Mayger, weighing in at 3.4kg and 51 cm long.

A nice early Christmas present for long serving MSBL Hawks player and first time Dad, Trent Mayger. The Hawks can foresee Cooper won’t have an option other than basketball, with both Bea & Trent accumulating many games between them in State League Basketball.

Cooper is already the owner of a Hawks singlet, courtesy of Bea’s team mates, ready for him to grow into!

A trip back to the USA to Corey’s hometown Minnesota in October for Corey, Denise and their delightful daughter Tiana, before the new arrival joined their family.

Jaylen Jamaal Easley was born on January 20th. Look out for Jaylen at the Hawks SBL games under the watchful eye of ‘big’ sister Tiana.

In 2032 we expect Jaylen to take over the number 30 singlet at the Hawks unless Corey acts as his manager and signs him to the New England Patriots NFL team!

The third addition to the Hawks family is Leah Dickson who was born on January 31st at 35 weeks, weighing in @ 3.3kg. Lucky for TK Leah decided to enter this world 5 weeks early as she may have been a centre rather than a point guard!

Proud first time Mum is over 400 WSBL games ex Lady Hawks Captain Tanya (TK) Kelly and her equally proud husband, Ryan Dickson.

We are hoping baby Leah will follow in her Mum’s footsteps and take up the point guard position at the Hawks in 2032.

We welcome our newest members to the Hawks family and look forward to seeing these families at some of our SBL games during the season.
