Uni/Work: Studying physiotherapy at Curtin University- currently half way through my 4th and final year.
Why basketball? I started when I was trying to choose a sport when I was younger and a friend got me into it, and I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s been one of the biggest parts of my life for a long time now.
How many years have you been playing? Since I was 10 so 11 years now!
Your thoughts on the season so far? This year has been different for a lot of us; different coaches, different structure and slightly different team. Our season has been up and down, but some of the bumps we have you’d expect as we’ve had a total make over, and have quite a young team, but it has been good so far.
Favourite players/inspirational people: I don’t really have any favourite players, I am terrible at following other basketball leagues! I guess I admire Damian Martin because of his great defence, and inspirational people are my Mum and Dad!
Favourite moment or moments playing: Probably making into a grand final in SBL, or winning my first championship in D League when I was 17, felt so great to finally win a flag and to do it with a lot of my friends who I had grown up with.
Share 3 things you're good at other than basketball: Cooking, organising and talking to old people.
