Hawks Men’s Team  Player Profile

Age: 29

Nickname: C, Big Easy, Ease, Big Ticket, Big Daddy

School: University of Montana/Minnesota St.Mankato

Why Basketball? Basketball was always one of my favorite sports. I played pretty much every sport growing up but basketball was #1. My height and my passion for the game made for an easy transition.

How many years? I have been playing the game of basketball since I was 3 years old where I would have to shoot granny shots to get the ball to a 10ft rim. So approx. 26 years of basketball.

How has the transition to Team Hawks been? The transition to Hawks has been a good one for me personally. I worked my tail off to get the opportunity to play for the Hawks this year and so far so good. The transition has been made even smoother by the Hawks staff and supporters. They have made myself and my family feel right at home. I feel like we are just scratching the surface of our potential so far this season. We still have some work to do to be where we want to be come playoff time, but we are ready for the challenge.

Favourite players/inspirational people: Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson are my favourite players and my Mom and Dad are truly an inspiration.

Favourite moments playing: One would be making 3 free throws with no time left down 2 in a High School game. I know it’s hard to believe if you have seen my FT %. The #1 moment would be going to the NCAA tournament twice while at the University of Montana. Once playing in front of over 15,000 and the second time over 12,000.

3 things you’re good at other than basketball: sports games, sports trivia and sarcasm.

8 things you couldn’t live without: iPod, PS3, Family, Friends, ESPN, NFL, Movies and USA visits.

If you could hang out with any 5 people in the world, who would they be?

Abraham Lincoln, Magic Johnson, Tom Brady, Barack Obama, and Will Smith

Favourite quote: "You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take"

I would just like to thank Perry Lakes and Shawn Dennis for the chance to play this season. It’s been a pleasure to be coached by such a good coach and I look forward to working with the guys and continuing what we started
