Hawks 14's reverse the tables
The WABL grand final rematch saw a very determined team of Hawks boys out to make amends for their 1 point loss. From the tip off their defensive intensity was outstanding leading to many a Lakeside turnover and Hawks fast break.
A Jhonny Lutula buzzer beating triple gave the Hawks A 25-6 half time lead.
The Hawks boys did not ease up in the second half and ran out comfortable 51-21 winners.
Tonight's win gives our boys the playoff for 5th at 1:30pm Saturday afternoon.
Their opponents will be the Eltham Wildcats.
The Hawks supporters have been fantastic all week cheering the boys on. riding the many highs of the week and encouraging the boys through the two very tough games on Thursday.
