Day 2 Australian 14 Club Championships

This morning our boys had an early game against yesterday's other winner from our pool - Albury Cougars.

After a slow start where neither team could find a way to the basket, some increased pressure in defense and better patience in offense got the score moving for the Hawks.

A solid bust late in the third and into the fourth gave the Hawks a 22 point lead. Final score 48-32.

Game 3 for our boys saw them complete the preliminary rounds with a resounding 78-38 win over the Southern Tasmania Chargers. The win gives the team first place in their pool and a place in the championship Division - a great achievement in itself.

Tomorrow they come up against the Gold Coast Waves. This team features a 195cm boy, so the boys will be challenged, but Coach Bob and his team will have a plan!

Wednesday's game is at 6pm so come along to Kalamunda to cheer our team along!
