Well done to our Young WABL Players
Hawks under 13s girls Renae Robertson and Alysha Holmes have been selected in the State Schoolgirls Under 13s squad. Renae was selected as one of the 10 players to travel Melbourne in August 2012, Alysha named as one of 2 reserves.
Their Hawks side lost last year’s grand final to Willetton and again are enjoying another strong season only losing one game to date.
Renae's selection is just reward as she travels from Northam to Perth every Thursday and Sunday, along with her brother Deven who plays for the Hawks under 12s. Alysha is in her 3rd year with the Hawks and is the sister of Deearna Holmes who plays for the Hawks 16s.
Perry Lakes Hawks are also represented in the U13’s Schoolboys squad by Matthew Oberman, Jayden Stone and Jamie Forsyth – all members of Hawks U 13 WABL Team. This team is also performing well with only one loss to date.
Not to be outdone, our U 18 Girls’ team is also represented with Brieana Nolan, Meg Stewart and Kristan Teasdale.
We wish all of our players the very best for the week, from the 11th August to the 17th August.
