Anthony Lee- 6ft 5 American Import at just 23 years of age, having already proven himself to the hawks fans with a fantastic display of 29 Points 22 Rebounds and 5 Blocks. 

 

Q:        With 22 rebounds do you pride yourself on being the hardest worker on the court?

 

A:        Yes I pride myself on being the hardest worker on the court because I was always taught not to let anyone out work me, I take this with me everywhere I go.

Q:        Is this your first time to Australia? Are you enjoying the Hawks culture?

A:         Yes this is my first time in Australia and I enjoy playing with this group of guys. There are so many funny personalities and chemistry within our team that work really good together

Q:        What do you hope to bring to this team, this club?

A:        If God is willing I hope to bring a powerful presence in the paint. I am a great ball handler and help side defender. I hope to lead this team to a 20 win season and win a ring.

Q:        In training, which of your teammates is pushing you most to make you better?

A:        I can't point out just 2 or 3 people. They all try to challenge me in their own ways and I have my ways of challenging them. We all challenge each other and develop as a team.

 

Q:        What’s the best piece of advice you received as a rookie?

 

A:        The best advice I received was to play my hardest no matter what. Even if the referees are not giving any calls it is important to maintain hard work on the court.

Q:        You’re staying with the Exells, How’s Rhonda’s cooking?

A:        Yes im staying with the Exells and loving it. They are a cool bunch and Rhonda bear's cooking is a blessing. She's a wonderful cook. She cooks the best chicken in Perth.

Q:        Being from Indiana are you a pacers fan?

A: I am a Pacers fan but I was a bigger fan when they had Reggie Miller and Ron Artest. Now I would say that I'm really a Magic fan!
