Week 2 State Champs Wrap Up
The Go for 2 & 5 BWA State Championships were held at WABC on the weekend for the Under 12 & 15’s age groups. Another 7 teams participated from the Hawks with the weather a little cooler this week and much more pleasurable.
All team battled gallantly with the WABL under 12 Championship Team making it through to the grand final but being defeated by the Wanneroo Wolves in a tight game 27 – 22. This team is coached by Bob Andrzejewski and Morgan Hughes.
The Under 15 Women coached by Brad Spicer also made it to the grandfinal but being defeated by Geraldton 28 - 17.
Congratulations to all teams who participated.
Nick Sokolich once again refereed fantastic and was awarded another grand final game.
The Go for 2 & 5 BWA State Championships wraps up next weekend with the
Under 14, 17 & 19’s so get down and support your club.
