The 2010 teams have been allocated their divisions for next season, with the Men being assigned a Division 3 slot in BigV, and the Women again vying for a Division 1 championship.

The two teams have already commenced their pre season training, with many players keen to get off on the right foot right from the start.

A few new faces to both teams will add both depth and dimension and certainly look to impress when they hit the courts during the first round on March 20, 2010.

Newly appointed Mens coach, James 'Mad Dog' Madigan is certainly no newcomer to the basketball coaching scene, having coached the Albury Bandits last season in the SEABL competition.  His knowledge of the local players is formidable, as he is coaching the Demons Mens A Grade side in the local club competition, so sees the depth on offer regularly.  Having also coached the Mildura Mavericks in the past will hold him in good stead next season.

The Womens team have a solid grounding as Rohan 'Butch' Pearce takes the reigns again for his third season.  Having a well earned rest from the junior representative level during 2009, is avidly keen to take the team through to the finals and take out the championship, something which has eluded him these past two years.  The player list is stronger than ever, and with some very talented juniors making their way through the ranks, the team is sure not to disappoint.

We therefore ask you to consider your support, as our teams certainly can't move forward without it.  It is the support of the businesses, along with the hard work done in the background, which helps give the teams this vital opportunity.
