Michael Pearce played his 350th game for the Blues against Thevenard in the B Grade at Smoky Bay on Saturday 2nd June, it was a vintage performance from Michael as he kicked 6 goals and was named best player as he celebrated his milestone in style with a 51 point win. To play 350 games in any league is a big achievement but extra special in Far West as the minor round is only 12 games each season.
Michael started with the Blues in 1991 and has achieved so much over his career:
280 A Grade and 70 B Grade games.
Regular Association player and played in 16 Mortlock Shield carnivals, twice named in team of carnival and life member of the Mortlock Shield.
Won an A Grade Best & Fairest.
Association leading goal kicker twice in both A & B Grade
3 A Grade & 1 B Grade premierships.
Twice kicked 13 goals in a match.
Everyone in the Far West wishes to congratulate Michael on the occasion of his 350th game and may there be many more!
