Spiders Academy for boys & girls in school years 2 & 3 starts next Thursday 17th March
This program is for boys and girls in school years 2 and 3, who may wish to be future Spider Representative basketball players.
In addition to having current basketball players participate, children from other sports who are tall, athletic, and strong are encouraged to participate as basketball is well suited to children with these characteristics.
This program is one component of the Spiders Development Pathway, with the full pathway being:
1. Spiders Academy in school terms 1 & 2 (12 x 60 minute sessions)
2. Pre-Rep-Trial-Clinics (mid-way in school term 3 - 5 x 90 minute sessions)
3. Representative Player Trials in school term 4 (3 x 90 minute trials)
Academy Skills consist of basic fundamentals relevant to the under 12 playing age group. The content of this program links into the Pre-Rep-trials-Clinics, which links again into the Representative Player Trials.
This progam is conducted on Thursday afternoons during school terms 1 and 2 at Loreto Nornamhurst from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
