The Trainers Room
Trainers are a key part of any football club and football match. Football is a tough physical sport, and from time to time injuries occur, either from the game itself or other complaints such as rapid growth in juniors and pre existing medical conditions.
All Trainers are strongly encouraged to complete the accreditation programs that are offered yearly via the League and SANFL, which provides instruction on strapping, common injuries and treatments, plus general guideance and assistance.
Participation in interleague matches are an ideal opportunity to workshop ideas and issues with peers.
The menu items here are sourced from the AFL Community, and seek only to provide general guideance in the titled areas. As always player/participants best interests are the key, therefore if any doubt exists, please seek professional medical assistance.
Mid West Football League and its club's fully appreciate the role that our Trainers fill. Caring and assisting players health and fitness is important, good training staff form the back bone of any team, from community club to elite AFL levels.
