Congratulations to Douglas Jones of the Yankalilla Football Club (20 votes) winning the Argus Medal by one vote from Rhys Evans of
Mount compass, being the runner up on 19 votes.
The A Grade Mail Medal count also went down to the wire with congratulations to Daniel Bass of Willunga winning with 26 votes from Brett Ellis of McLaren equal runner up with James Sellar of Langhorne Creek, with 24 votes each.

Congratulations to Tom Pinyon of Mount Compass who won the GSFL A Grade Goalkicking award with 112 goals for the minor round. Tom is the first century goalkicker since 2010 when David Hams of Willunga achieved the feat.
Congratulation also to Sean Jensen, also of Mount Compass, who
won the GSFL Reserves Goalkicking with 50 goals for the minor round.
New Player Life Members who were inducted on the night, Marcus Burdett and Bradley Haskett of Willunga, Trent Griffen of Goolwa –
Port Elliot and Brendan Saunders of Langhorne Creek.
Also congratulations to Kym Sewell and Julie Curran for being inducted into the GSFL Life Membership. Kym has been very involved in junior football for the GSFL for over 30 years and Julie Curran who becomes the first female inductee. Julie was the GSFL assistant secretary from 1978 to 2017 and has been a long time servant of the league, dealing in times well before the internet when every thing was done by hand.
