The Southern Umpires Association is expanding its horizons. At the Presentation Night in October last year, the SUA announced that it had completed the registration process for the trademark “Casey Cardinia Umpires Association”, which was the start of an ambitious program to increase the reach of the organisation into a rapidly developing residential corridor.
Having recognised the potential for developing umpiring talent in this region, the Board recently released this new logo that will give the Casey Cardinia branch a highly recognisable identity.
At its Annual General Meeting, the Chairman of the SUA, Jeff Jones said, “The Board and the Association are proud of this innovation and places us at the front of umpiring development.”
The Board also presented a new website www.caseycardiniaumpires.com.au. to complement the launching of the logo. This website will be used as a part of a targeted marketing plan aimed specifically at increasing the number of field and goal umpires at our Fountain Gate/Casey training base.
