Sex means different things to everyone. For some, having sex happens only with someone they’re really close to. For others, it can be an important part of different relationships. Making your own decision about having sex is important. It means looking after yourself and deciding what’s right for you.
If you decide to have sex, make it safer sex. Safer sex means feeling good about yourself and your relationships. It also means protecting yourself and the person you’re having sex with from sexually transmissible infections (STIs) by safe sex practices and an unplanned pregnancy through using contraception.
