2010 Interchange Agreement
between the
Lexton Plains Football League
and the
Ararat & District Junior Football Association
This agreement is for Ararat & District Junior Football Association Junior players to play in LPFL under age matches, and Lexton Plains Football League players to play in the Ararat & District Junior Football Association under age matches in order to provide players with the opportunity to play with LPFL and ADJFA clubs who have Junior football shortages and play at a higher level.
1. The player seeking permission to interchange must complete the prescribed additional Interchange form annually.
2. Prior to interchanging between clubs, the player must obtain permission to do so from the club from which he wishes to interchange.
3. The number of players permitted to interchange from any club in any week must not exceed 5.
4. The maximum number of games that can be played by any player under this agreement is 7 (LPFL).
5. The maximum number of games that can be played per day is 1.
6. A player cannot interchange whilst under suspension.
7. A player must complete the relevant interchange form which shall be deemed current for the entire season. A signed copy of this interchange form must be submitted to the LPFL Secretary one day prior to the game the player wishes to participate in. Failure to comply shall result in a penalty as deemed reasonable by both league Secretaries.
8. If an interchange player is reported in the LPFL the LPFL Tribunal will hear the charge. Any penalties imposed shall be served in the League in which the player is registered.
9. The player, player’s parent or guardian, the junior club secretary/president and the BFL Operations Manager or CEO must sign the prescribed interchange form. Failure to adhere to this will result in a four-week suspension to the player concerned.
10. This agreement applied only to the LPFL Under age competitions. i.e players cannot Interchange into LPFL Open Age football.
11. If a club breaches the rules of the Interchange agreement, they lose the right to interchange players for the remainder of that calendar year.
12. Only registered LPFL players can play LPFL finals.
13. Only registered ADJFA players can play ADJFA finals.
