The Goulburn Valley Netball League has appointed its interleague coaches who will lead the League’s charge for the Netball Victoria Association Championships in 2017.
Current Shepparton Bears A grade, and former Victorian 21/U Assistant Coach Tracey Brereton has been reappointed as the Open Head Coach, whilst 2016 GVNL Premiership playing coach, Kyabram star Belinda Lees will again be her Assistant. With Belinda likely to be an on court leader, Dylan Nexhip will also being joining the open side as an assistant coach. Dylan Has previous interleague experience in the Murray League and is currently coaching at Benalla.
Current State 17/U Netball Victoria Head Coach Jacinta Todd from Shepparton Bears will head up the 17&Under program with Di Hanslow from Shepparton United filling the Assistant Coach role.
GVNL President Jacqui Hudgson was impressed by the calibre of coaches which came forward wanting to be involved.
“Tracey has been a dedicated coach for not only the league, but also at a state level for a number of years and her strong desire to return the GVNL to the number one ranking will drive the team’s preparation next season” she said.
“Belinda has become one of the league’s most talented playing coaches and has recently completed her Advanced Coaching Accreditation with Netball Australia.”
