The Benalla Saints Football Club have announced that they have re-appointed Tim SYMES to lead their club as Senior Coach for season 2010. This will be Tim's 3rd year as the Senior Coach and has been re-appointed with one motivating factor being that he is sick of losing and he wants to ensure that he is involved with the clubs return to on-field success. Tim has been quoted as saying the club have been in the recruiting mould for the last few weeks and willl now go all out to recruit a ruckman and a tough on-baller as high priorities further stating he and the club want long term sustained success. Benalla have got most things pretty right off the field with terrific new change-rooms and plans for an upstairs extension well on the way and the completion of a gymnasium for both the footballers and netballers to use.
Tim's appointment now locks in 8 of the clubs Senior Coaches for next year with the re-appointments of Brad CAMPBELL (Mooroopna), Craig KELLY (Mansfield), Richard WARBURTON (Shepparton), Marc QUARRELL (Shepparton United), Pau SERRA (Tatura), Bernie HABERMAN at Seymour and the Shepparton Swans appointing Perry MEKA. Euroa have advised that they are advertising to fill all positions for 2010 whereas we are yet to hear from Rochester, Kyabraam and Echuca.
