This site will give CGJFL member club administrators, players, parents & general public information on game results, upcoming events & important news items from the CGJFL & WorkSafe Victoria VCFL. Each club have their own IT site to which vital club administration activities can be performed, eg:Online Player Registration & Clearances, Game Stats, Team Stats,Team Sheets,Player Stats, Ecommerce plus other useful components as they come online in the future.
The CGJFL was formed in 1972 after the Yallourn & District Junior Football League was disbanded. Founding Member clubs are; Newborough Bulldogs JFC, Newborough Hawks JFC, Yallourn North JFC, Moe City JFC, Moe Colts JFC, Moe St Keirans, Trafalgar JFC & *Hernes Oak JFC (*Disbanded 1981)
Life Members are;Phil Felstead, Gerry Morrissey (Dec), Keith (Hoot)Gibson (Dec), Kelvin "Ned" Scott (Dec), Murray Carpenter(Dec), Ron McColl, Ron Michie, Paul Erbs, Wayne Tunks, laurie Plunkett (Dec), Laurie 'Truck' Williams, Gordon Cantwell and Charles Weir.
CGJFL belongs to the WorkSafe VCFL region of Latrobe Valley. The League now boasts 10 member clubs culminating in 36 teams being fielded in under 10's, 12's & 14's and with over 900 registered players making it the largest stand alone junior football league east of Melbourne. Member Clubs of the CGJFL are(*Founding Members); Churchill JFC, Hillend & Grove Rovers JFC, Leongatha JFC, Mirboo North JFC, Moe City JFC, *Moe Colts JFC(defunct), *Moe Saints JFC(Formally St Kierans) - Moe Saints and Moe City merged in 2012 to form the Moe Lions JFC), *Newborough Bulldogs JFC, *Newborough Hawks JFC (Hawks and Bulldogs merged in 2010 to form the Newborough JFC), *Trafalgar JFC, *Yallourn North JFC, Morwell Tigers JFC, Morwell Youth Club JFC, Morwell Saints JFC (formally St Vincents JFC), Yinnar JFC.
