The Board of the Southern Football League see the securing of these game as an exciting concept which will be one of the man points of this our special year. Many people have requested the opportunity compete against other leagues at association level. With these games we now have an opportunity to showcase the strength and comradeship within the Southern Football League.
To this extent we are requesting your support and assistance in making this a success as this may lead to ongoing association games in future years.
Let’s all embrace this concept and enjoy what will be a fantastic week end of football with our closest neighbouring Football Leagues.
All players registered within the Southern Football League are reminded of their obligation under the Constitution that if they are selected they are required to play in these games. Officials and Coaches of club are also reminded of their obligations to encourage players to participate in these games.
Please make sure that this information is circulated amongst your officials, coaches and players so there is no doubt in anyone’s mind of these obligations. The Southern Football League will take action against any club officials or players who refuse to comply with these obligation.
