The first ever, "Micronesian Swimming Championships" has begun!

With the weather clearing, this morning's heats were really fun to watch as there were a lot of great races and big times drops. The intensity was amazing throughout and tonight is set up to have a great finals session with a lot of tight races.

The U-18 Baseball Confederation of Oceania (BCO) Championship will open on Tuesday, 22 January, at Paseo Stadium in Agana, Guam. The final is scheduled for Sunday, 27 January. Five nations will battle for Oceania’s top youth crown, including American Samoa, Guam, Australia, New Zealand and Palau.

The first International Coaching Course in Budapest was held in 1971. Since the establishment of
the Course, over 2.000 participants from more than 90 countries and all continents of the world
received their diploma at our University.

Team Palau had a very successful Youth Olympic Games these past couple weeks in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Swimmers Noel Keane and Roylin Akiwo represented Palau at the Youth Olympic games, as the lone sport who attended the games.

Noel bettered his 100 Freestyle National Record (55.96) with a very fast 55.59, which makes him 2/2 best times and National Records this meet!

Roylin had a good 50 Free that was just a little bit off her best, where she posted a 31.27 and getting third in her heat.

July 4th - With only one week for our Team Palau to go to Yap for the 2018 Micronesian Games, the final preparation is taking place, with team final members, food/equipment supplies, team uniforms and other essentials that require the Team to bring to ensure that our Athletes have full and complete support at the 9th Micronesian Games in Yap.

On April 7th and 9th 2018, the Palau National Olympic Committee (Palau NOC), with the Palau Athletes and Olympians Commission held the 1st outreach program this year in Peleliu.
