Dynasty at Ghana Christian International High School

On friday 25th November 2011 Dynasty Basketball Association visited one of Ghana's premier Christian High Schools located on the Dodowa-Afienya road on the eastern corridors of Accra. Dynasty was invited by the school to help in managing the schools 2011/2012 Inter-Houses Basketball Tournament.

On arrival we were welcomed by the great cool and peaceful atmosphere and the sight of mountains in the background around the school. After few minutes of settling down the tournament was on with the crowd gradually building up. The tournament included four of the school's four houses; 1,2,3, & 4. Throughout the tournament Dynasty identified young budding basketball talents who have ability to play high level college basketball in the nearest future if they are well guided.

House 4 dominated the girls tournament with great team play and finishing which resulted in them winning the girls tournament. The boys tournament was close competition between House 1 and House 2 who both dominated their first round games. The finals was a delight to watch as both teams stayed close to each other in scores throughout the game. The game wouldn’t have been complete without drama as House 2's leading scorer Denzel scored a buzzer beater to tie the game at 12 -12 which also sent the game to overtime. Amartey Amar who had scored 11 of his team’s 12 points in the regular time scored the only points of the overtime to crown House 1 as the champions for the boys tournament.

The founder of Dynasty Basketball Association Isaac Robert Kwapong Jnr at the end of the tournament had a 20minutes inspiring talk with all the boys and girls who played in the tournament and introduced some of the great high school services of iSports Management. The statistics, video and pictures of the tournament was courtesy iSports Tech & Media and was powered by AceGhana a technological company working in partnership with iSports Tech & Media. Dynasty will be returning to Ghana Christian International High School in January to run what will be one of Dynasty's biggest basketball clinics for its Art of Balling programme.
