PLAYING DATES

Below are the proposed dates for the Winter Season.

Please be aware, Gold Coast Basketball reserve the right to change playing dates and times.

Celtics will do our best to inform all players of changes in the schedule as soon as we can once we are advised.

There will be split rounds this season. A split round is one round of the competition that takes place over multiple weeks. During the split rounds, a team will play on only one of the proposed dates.

Please ensure that your player can make all of the games proposed before proceeding with the registration

GCJBL VENUES

The GCJBL Winter Season games will be played at the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre at Carrara, Tallebudgera Recreational Centre, and Somerset College in Mudgeeraba.

Game locations will be released with the game fixtures in early February.

GAME FIXTURES

All game rosters are issued by Gold Coast Basketball.

Celtics have no input to the location, court, time, or day that the games will take place.

Rosters for the season in early February. Roster details will be posted to the website and game day as soon as practicable.

Gold Coast Basketball reserve the right to change the game rosters at any time.

PLAYER TRIALS - NOW CLOSED

Payment on the day will not be accepted.

Winter 2023 Registration is now closed!

CLUB FEES

Celtics is a not for profit 100% voluteer organisation and we endeavour to keep our club fees to the absolute minimum.

Club fees are used to cover the cost of hiring the training facilities, the game fees charged by Gold Coast Basketball allowing us to enter teams into the competition, and administrative costs.

Celtics Club Fees for Winter 2023 will be $370.00* ($420.00 less $50 trial fee) for each player.

Payment optios

A full payment of $370.00*, paid at the time of registration. (*less trial fee)
50/50 payment plan - additional $50 admin fee will apply per player

An initial payment of $210.00 taken at the time or registration,

with an additional payment of $210.00 due on or before the 22nd of February.

An reminder for the remaining $210.00 will be emailed to the primary guardian of the player.

Note - registration is non refundable please ensure you have read the game calendar dates along with training information befrore you register.

TEAM TRAINING

Due to court availability at GCSLC team trainings will be allocated across Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday 4pm or 5pm start.

Whilst we understand players may have other committements, we can not change teams and training days/time to suit individual players

We want all our players to have a great playing experience, and a key factor of this is team bonding. When players are continually missing games and training sessions, it impacts the whole team dynamic, which is not only evident in the gameplay but also the players attitudes toward each other.

Players who are continually missing training sessions and games may not receive as much game time as players who are proving their commitment to the team by attending training and games.
