2019 Club team selections and grading

Hi All,

Registrations have been finalised and club grading and team selections are the next step.

For parents new to the club, the winter competition is a little more intense than the summer comp (Oct-Dec) and we like to get the kids playing with similar standard players.  This matters most for Division 1 & 2.  Below this we can accommodate friends being placed in the same team.

After we have done our selections, we nominate teams for various age groups and divisions and there are 3-4 rounds where we play other clubs as grading games to make sure our teams are in the right division.  Ideally, you do not want a team smashing everyone else in that division so there can be teams moving up and down in divisions through this period.  This is usually dictated by results.

We then move into the season proper.

The Celtic team selections and gradings will be done on the 2nd and 9th of February at Carrara (Hall 2).  The schedule is below.

If you have ordered uniforms, training singlets, shorts etc., we will have some stock available on those days and will have sizes to try for stock that needs to be ordered in.

Please read carefully to make sure your child turns up to the right session.

Players to wear a reversible singlet and bring a ball, a water bottle and towel.  Players to arrive 15 mins before their trial to be numbered and have their photo taken and be warmed up and ready to play.

If for any reason you cannot make selections you need to let us know, as we understand people have prior commitments but your child may miss out or be mis-graded if we do not get to see them play.

Thankyou and we look forward to seeing you all on the 2nd of February.
