“Many of the towns in the KDFNL have very strong ties to the dairy industry with football and netball clubs an integral part of those towns.
The Grand Final is our major event of the year and their presence will add another dimension to what is always a great family-focused and fun atmosphere,” he said.
Dairy Australia’s Community Project Manager Natasha Busbridge said strong ties between the dairy industry and local communities is vital.
“We are extremely grateful for what the towns in the Murray region do for the dairy industry,” she said.
“We also recognise the crucial role that football netball clubs have in their local towns, and their role as a central hub for sport, social and community development.”
Dairy Australia is the national service body for the Australian dairy industry and its Legendairy program celebrates dairy farmers and their communities.
“This partnership will help us in supporting local dairy farmers, as well as allowing us to participate with regional communities and highlight the contribution the dairy industry makes at a local level,” Ms Busbridge said.
