DANIEL MOTLOP has for the second successive round received a nomination for AFL Goal of the Year. This follows his double nominations in both Mark and Goal of the Year for Round 2. Though he didn't win either of those (details below), voting is open for his Round 3 effort against Melbourne.
Last year, Indigenous AFL players received 35 nominations for Mark and Goal of the year, unfortunately, none of them won it. Of those 35 nominations, Motlop received an amazing six such nominations (two for marks, four for goals).
