Skippers have contrasting fortunes after first matchAS the WAFL's only two Aboriginal club captains this season, Perth's Troy Cook and South Fremantle's Toby McGrath will lead their teams against each other just twice this year, and maybe in the finals.
For now, however, Cook has an 11-week 'brag' over McGrath after the Demons notched up an solid 41-point win over the Bulldogs at Fremantle Oval at the weekend.
It was Perth's first win of the season after their narrow three-point loss to Peel in their first match of the year. And it was Souths' second loss in succession. Another sour note was that McGrath was cited for attempting to trip Perth's Matthew Moody.
