Consecutive grand finals for hard-nut Territorian
GEELONG small forward/midfielder Mathew Stokes has survived the cull and is set to play in tomorrow's AFL Grand Final.
Stokes was among five others in line to step down for the return of team-mate Paul Chapman but Cats coach Mark Thompson chose instead to drop David Wojcinski.
Stokes has played 21 of a possible 24 games this year.
Collingwood let Egan go
THE AFL career of Chris Egan is uncertain after Collingwood de-listed the soon-to-be 22-year-old.
Egan, an exciting prospect and product of Rumbalara Football Club, played 27 games in four seasons as the club, and just two this year.
A knee injury restricted him in 2007 where he played just the one game.
Egan kicked 13 goals in the 2006 season in his 11 appearances for the club, including one in an elimination final against the Western Bulldogs.
Egan was the 10th overall pick in the 2004 draft.
