MCG action the prize for best Indigenous team
THE AFL Northern Territory's 2008 Defence Jobs carnival is on again.
This year’s carnival is being held at TIO Stadium, Darwin, from Friday, October 10, to Sunday, October 12. It will incorporate Round 1 of the TIO NTFL season, a community division and also a women’s division.
The Defence Jobs AFL Carnival will be a three-day, round-robin series to launch the football season in the Top End. It will also provide an opportunity for teams from across the NT to come together and showcase their talents.
The highest-placed Indigenous community team will win the chance to play in the ‘Dreamtime at the G’ match during the AFL’s Indigenous round in 2009. NB: Conditions apply.
So, come along and watch some great footy over the weekend. Discounted tickets available for the weekend.
More information will be available closer to the carnival dates.
