DARREN MONCRIEFF

SOUTH Fremantle club legend Toby McGrath will have a three-week spell on the sidelines after being suspended by the WAFL last night.
McGrath (pictured) was cited after AFL club Fremantle provided the league with video footage of McGrath striking Peel Thunder's, and Fremantle listed player, Anthony Morabito at Fremantle Oval on Sunday.
Morabito was stretchered from the ground and was later diagnosed with concussion, although he was not placed on the Dockers' injured list and looks to be in line to play against Collingwood this weekend.
In a twist to the case, McGrath was charged only after the Dockers provided footage of the incident, having trained their cameras on Morabito.
There was no other footage of the incident which happened at a boundary throw-in in the final minutes of the match.
The incident, however, was the subject of an official notice of investigation by umpire observer Andrew Ball after the game.
McGrath, 32 later this year, has played nine out of the 14 games this season for a WAFL career total of 229 games.
He is a two-time Bulldogs fairest-and-best winner (2004, 2008), and Sandover and Simpson Medal winner (2005), Bulldogs premiership player (2005) and four-time grand finalist (1999, 2001, 2005, 2006).
McGrath is also a five-game State player for WA (2004, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010).
