EDDIE SANSBURY knows what it takes to win a grand final -- he has three premiership medallions at home and by early next month he could add another.
Sansbury (pictured) is an integral part of the formidable Central Districts Football Club in the SANFL.
The Bulldogs are creating a sporting 'dynasty' in South Australia.
They have played in the past 11 grand finals and could play in a 12th should world order be restored, beginning tomorrow.
Centrals have already claimed their eighth minor premiership since 2001 and will take a keen interest in tomorrow's qualifying final between Norwood and Woodville-West Torrens.
The winner has the 'privilege' of playing the Bulldogs in next week's second semi-final.
Sansbury, 27, is aiming for a 'three-peat' of premierships with Centrals; he played in the 2009 and 2010 grand final-winning teams.
In the 2003 season decider, the former North Melbourne midfielder and 2005 AFL Indigenous All-Star, Sansbury was the spark that ignited the Bulldogs to win their third flag when they defeated West Adelaide.
He booted five goals that day on the Bloods' Adam Cooney, who weeks later would become the No.1 AFL draft pick and would in 2008 win the Brownlow Medal.
SALUTE TO SANSBURY: Eddie Sansbury won three premierships with Central Districts: in 2003, 2009 and 2010.
Sansbury did his own AFL chances no harm with his performance that day and would later be selected by the Kangaroos, in the same draft, where he would play 40 games in a four-year AFL career.
Sansbury's return to the SANFL in 2009 boosted the already powerful Centrals team which had won a further four premierships in his absence.
