PERTH rover Kerwin Stuart is the 2011 Jack Clarke Medal winner as the best player in the WAFL Colts.
Kerwin (pictured) won the award with a runaway 45 votes, 12 more than the second-placed player.
Kerwin was presented with the medal by Dorothy Clarke, wife of the late Jack Clarke, and WA Football Commission chairman Frank Cooper at a vote count in the Bill Walker Room at Patersons Stadium.
The 2011 Colts team of the year (pictured below) was also announced this week with Kerwin named as captain.
He was joined in the team by two other Aboriginal footballers: Marvin Warrell (South Fremantle) and Will Shea (Swan Districts).
Marvin was second in the Jack Clarke Medal voting with 33 votes. Marvin's Bulldogs will play Claremont in this weekend's second semi-final.
Kerwin was part of the 50-strong group of young Aboriginal footballers who attended the AFL KickStart camp in Melbourne in 2007.
