THEY call him "Sweety" down Alberton way, and there's just no way to sugarcoat this but
Terry Milera's goal for Port Adelaide on Saturday can only be described as outrageous.
The slightly built utility Milera (pictured) kicked a contender for goal of the year when, without looking, facing the wrong way and hemmed in on the boundary against South Adelaide, his left-foot snap split the sticks for one of his three goals during a productive third quarter. He looked as surprised as anyone when it went through.

It was perhaps fitting that Milera kicked the amazing goal during the SANFL's Indigenous Round, the first of what the league hopes will be many more to come each year.
That goal was one of three Milera kicked for Port in the third quarter; they were in fact Port's only goals for the quarter.
The home side were to add just one more goal for the game as South Adelaide kicked away in the last quarter to win by 23 points, 13.10 (88) to 9.11 (65). The result puts both sides on the cusp of the top five.
Milera, 23, made his league debut for the Magpies in 2009. Last season, he won the reserves’ Margery Medal and also the leading goalkicker award (34).
He is one of a number of Indigenous footballers at Alberton, the Magpies’ home base.
