Heat and Blaze Away Again

This weekend sees our State League teams on the road again.

The Heat will travel to Moss Vale to take on the Magic on Saturday in a must win game that could move the Heat back into 3rd spot.  They will need to counter the imposing figure of ex-NBL giant "Stormin" Norman Taylor but as they have shown in most games this year, the Heat have the firepower to take down any side in this pool.  It just needs the players to apply themselves for a full 4 quarters each game.

The Blaze line up for another road double header in a horror stretch as they take on Bathurst on Saturday and back it up against Penrith on Sunday.  Despite splitting last weekend's road double, the Blaze have dropped to 2nd spot on the ladder so this week's games take on added importance as the girls chase an all important home final spot.  Their is little doubt that when the Blaze are at their best they are a formidable outfit and Coach Mullins is working hard this week to get the girls to deliver their home game form on the road.  To make matters harder, the side will be without 2 starters this weekend but this gives other players the opportunity to impress in a starting role.
