HEAT & BLAZE ON THE ROAD

Our State Basketball League teams will be looking for repeat performances when they take to the road this weekend.

The Heat will be confident heading into Saturday night's game against the Shoalhaven Tigers having overcome them in Bomaderry earlier in the season.  The Heat are playing a far more effective style of team basketball and they showed against Queanbeyan that they are never beaten, coming from 16 points down to post a remarkable win.  Road games are always challenging but the side will be keen to continue the momentum they established with the victory over the Yowies.

The Blaze comfortably accounted for the Dubbo side last week but will need to be on their guard this weekend against the Rams, who are a far better performed team at home.  Word from the Dubbo camp is that they are ready for the Blaze this weekend but this Blaze side has shown that they are a high quality outfit.  Whilst being down on player numbers this weekend, Coach Mullins will be instilling into his players the need to play out the full 40 minutes in this game.

Good luck to both teams as they continue their push for SBL glory this year!
