Redbacks WABL Coaches announced.
As the first stage of the Redbacks new Coach and Player Development Program, the club is excited to announce the appointment of our W.A.B.L. coaches ahead of 2012.
The club would like to thank all of those who applied for positions.
All applicants did a great job of displaying their quality and enthusiasm for devloping junior basketball talent.
For season 2012 the following appointments have been made:

The Under 18 Womens coaching position will be filled by a member of Glenn Ellis' S.B.L. Coaching Staff to ensure that we are providing a consistent link between our W.A.B.L. girls program and our S.B.L. women.
The Under 20 Men will similarly be coached by a member of David Harris' S.B.L. program to ensure the continued development of our potential future S.B.L. players upon finishing in the junior ranks.
The Coach Selection Committe was pleased to note several things:
- The number of returning coaches
- The number of active members of our S.B.L. Men and Women who are actively giving back to the Redbacks community by coaching. Blake Smith, Jamieson Lewis, Jake Burston, Jess Jakens, Jayne Armstrong and Jarrad Prior should all be commended.
- All bar one of our coaches and assistant coaches have come through the Redbacks program.
