Hiddlestone Power-player of the Week
Brooke Hiddlestone was last night named the Women’s State Basketball League Powerplayer of the week.
This is the second time the veteran Southside Mitsubishi Redbacks’ player has received this award in 2010. It is a result of her outstanding game last weekend against the Rockingham Flames in which she finished with 26 points, 17 rebounds and four assists against the tough Rockingham front court, leading her side to a 64-56 win.
Brooke received a $50 voucher from Powerplay Sports in Churchill Avenue, Subiaco as a result of her efforts.
The club congratulates her on this great achievement.
Brooke will be a key player in tonight’s game between the 3rd placed Southside Mitsubishi Redbacks and 11th placed Kalamunda Eastern Suns to be held at the Ray Owen Reserve in Lesmurdie at 6.30PM tonight. The men’s game follows at 8.30PM
