Jesse Wagstaff To Suit Up For Redbacks
Jesse Wagstaff will play his first State Basketball League game for the Southside Mitsubishi Redbacks this Saturday. The game will be played at the Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre against the Rockingham Flames, with tip-off being at 8PM. It is preceded by the women’s State Basketball League game between the Redbacks and the Flames, which starts at 6PM.
Wagstaff joins the league having made a strong impression in the recently completed 2009/10 National Basketball League season as part of the Perth Wildcats’ championship winning team, as well as winning the Rookie of the Year award. It is expected that he will have a major impact on the State Basketball League for the remainder of the season.
