Notice of 2019 Annual General Meeting
NOTICE OF 2019 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of the Perth Basketball Association will be held on Wednesday 11th of December at The Balmoral Hotel, Victoria Park, commencing at 7:00pm for 7:30pm start.
Nominations for Board Positions
Nominations for the Board of the Perth Basketball Association Inc. for 2019/20 are hereby called for the following positions:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- General Board Members
Nominees are asked to consider their reasons for nominating for board positions and encouraged to have a conversation with the President, Anthony Nixon or Vice President, Grant Yonge to understand our strategic direction and discuss possible portfolio’s and roles. The association consists of various groups such as SBL, WABL and domestic competitions. All board considerations must be for the benefit of the association as a whole and personal agendas have no place on the board.
The nominator and seconder of every nominee to the Board shall be either a registered member or a life member of the association.
Nomination forms are available below and should be emailed through to the club secretary no later than Friday 30 th of November.
Agenda
The order of business at the Annual General Meeting shall be:
- Confirm minutes of previous meeting
- Presentation of the Board’s Annual Report
- Election of Office Bearers
- Election of Board positions
- General Business
