Redbacks juniors selected in FDP

With things full steam ahead on and off-court for the start of the WABL season, there was plenty of excitement for three Perth Redbacks WABL players this week who were selected in Basketball WA's Future Development Program. 

In the Under 13 Age Group, just 20 players were selected from all over the state and our own Jack Stahl and Jacob Bradley were selected from the Under 14 Boys Red team. 

The club was also represented In the Under 14 age group 25 players were picked, featuring Zvikomborero Tinayenda from the Under 14 Boys Championship team. 

"It is incredibly exciting to see three of our young athletes recognised at the next level of talent identification" said Redbacks General Manager Christian Rice. 

"These athletes will have the opportunity to be exposed to a higher level of coaching and we know that they will represent themselves and the club well."

"It is exciting not only for the players, however the club as a whole will benefit from its players being exposed to high quality programs such as the FDP."

"Development is a priority for us as a club and we have some excitement announcements around the corner that will help underpin the next generation of Redbacks to achieve at higher levels such as this."
