BOQ Redbacks in Playoffs Against Lightning
The Bank of Queensland Redbacks’ Men’s State Basketball League team takes on Lakeside Lightning in the first playoff game that tips off at 8PM this Saturday at the Belmont Oasis Leisure and Aquatic Centre.
This is the first game in the best of three playoff series.
Fans will get the chance to see the Redbacks’ starting line-up that comprises current and past National Basketball League players Justin Brown, Michael Vigor, “Boom Boom” Bennie Lewis, Jarrad Prior and Joel Wagner in action in what will be a great game.
And then there are the tough bench-players Adam Johnston and Dennis Tawhiti, up and coming junior Jamieson Lewis and Stephen Vigor that will ensure there is constant pressure on the opposition.
Redbacks fans are called upon to come en masse to scream for your team in this must win game that is guaranteed to see great outside shooting, plenty of dunks and tough “D” throughout the 48 minutes of action.
Adults just pay $10 and children/concession card holders $5 to watch this quality game.
Entry for WABL players is free with a paying adult.
The second game will be held at the Lakeside Recreation Centre on Friday 9th August at 8.30PM with the third game, if required, also played at Lakeside at 8.00PM on Saturday 10th August.
