Jarrad Prior Plays 200th Game

Jarrad Prior played his 200th State Basketball League last Friday when the BOQ Redbacks beat the Bunbury Slammers in Bunbury.

Jarrad’s basketball career highlights include:

  • Winning six Western Australian Basketball League Most Valuable Player Awards from 1999 to 2005
  • Making the State under 16s and under 20s teams
  • Playing his first State Basketball League game in 2004 at the age of 16
  • Winning the Redbacks’ SBL Most Improved Player Award in 2005
  • Member of the Redbacks’ Championship D-League team in 2005
  • Having a 59-point SBL game in 2006 against the Bunbury Slammers, an individual game-high scoring record for the League in the 2000s
  • Winning the Most Valuable and Best Defensive Player award for the Redbacks’ SBL in 2008
  • Being selected as a Perth Wildcats Development Player for seasons 2009-10 and 2010-11
  • Member of the 2010 Wildcats’ National Basketball League Championship team
  • Playing for the Ballarat Miners in the South-East Australian Basketball League team in 2011
  • Winning the Redbacks’ SBL Fairest and Best award in 2012.
