BOQ Redbacks to Meet Lightning at Home
The Bank of Queensland Redbacks’ State Basketball League women’s and men’s teams meet the Lakeside Lightning at the Belmont Oasis Leisure and Aquatic Centre this Friday night.
The women’s game tips off at 6.30PM and the men’s game at 8.30PM.
The fifth-placed Redbacks’ men’s team will look forward to the return of point-guard Joel Wagner and power-forward Michael Vigor when they meet the top-placed Lightning combination in what will provide a real indication as to where their progress is at.
It is a must-win game for the ninth-placed women’s team as victory may, at this early stage, see them displace the eighth-placed Lakeside Lightning in the last of the top-eight finals spots.
The BOQ Redbacks' State Basketball League teams follow this up with away-games against the Kalamunda Eastern Suns on Saturday at the Ray Owen Stadium, Gladys Road, Lesmurdie with the women’s game starting at 6.30PM and the men’s game at 8.30PM
