Annual General Meeting

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Annual General Meeting of the Perth Basketball Association will be held at 7pm on November 5th 2012 at the Perth Basketball Association Meeting Room, Leisurelife Recreation Centre, 34 Kent St East Victoria Park. 

As well as Officer and Director Reports being produced, the following vacant positions will be filled.

Officer Positions

As per the Constitution nominations for Officer positions – i.e. President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer – need to be received by 31st October at the Club’s Post Office (PO Box 292, Northbridge 6865).  All nominations to be proposed and seconded by members of the Perth Basketball Association.  

Please refer to the nomination form attached; along with guidance notes which are provided for further information. 

Board of Director Positions

Nominations for General Board of Director positions can be:

·        made on the day at the AGM; or

·        forwarded prior to the meeting to the Club’s Post Office (PO Box 292, Northbridge 6865). 

If forwarded by post they must be received at the post office by 5th November 2012.  All nominations to be proposed and seconded by members of the Perth Basketball Association.

Proxy Votes

Proxy to vote forms are also attached and can be: 

·        made on the day at the AGM; or

·        forwarded prior to the meeting to the Club’s Post Office (PO Box 292, Northbridge 6865).

Post-Meeting

Please note that the AGM will be followed by light refreshments and food.   The opportunity will then be taking for the new Officers and Directors to speak about the upcoming year ahead, programmes that are planned and various volunteer positions that we need to find helpers for.  More information regarding this will be circulated later.
