Benchmark Designer Homes WABL Wrap Round 14

The Benchmark Designer Homes Redbacks had six wins and 10 losses in its round 14 games against the Kalamunda Eastern Suns.

The highest of the Benchmark Designer Homes' men’s team scorers were under 16 Giordano Monteleone with 28; while under 20 Jake Whately had 26 and Logan Viskovich 23,

D-League player Jessica Jakens was the highest of the Redbacks’ Women’s teams with 20, while under 18 Jessica Hughes had 15 and under 16 Sam Tognolini 14;

The Benchmark Designer Homes Redbacks’ under 12 men’s team won yet another cliffhanger game 50 to 49 against the Kalamunda Eastern Suns. Luke Simonette had 16, Nick Biancuzzo two, Jordan Rigden four, Joshua Armstrong six, Kyle Bowen 10, Jack Tognolini four and Jordon Herbert eight. They are in third Northern Conference place out of six teams with nine wins and five losses.

The under 12 women’s team lost 29 to 48, which sees them with six wins and six losses and in third conference place out of six teams. Noor Soliman had two, Morgan Stewart nine, Nicola Kastropil three, Melissa Hughes one, Lauren Thompson eight and Sophie Pyne six.

The under 13 men lost 38 to 56. They now have three wins and 11 losses and are in sixth conference place, just two games away from the fourth placed Stirling. Mitchell Parker had two, Reece Hewitt five, Todd Nosworthy five, Mitchell Matrenza four, Ryan Bride eight, Jack Collard two and Nicholas Pyne 12.

The under 13 women’s team lost 14 to 84. They have one win and 11 losses and are in sixth conference place. Chloe Smith had six, Jordan Parkin two, Rachel Warren two, Kai Wineera two and Paige Fleming two.

The Benchmark Designer Homes under 14 men won 57 to 20. Kaelin Kramer had two, Connor Jansen nine, Nicholas Ramsay four, Stephen Pover six, Andrew Rich 14, Adam Parora two, Daniel Skelton four and Zac Huxley 15. They are in second conference place out of six teams with 12 wins and 13 losses.

The under 14 women are in fourth conference place out of five teams with three wins and nine losses after their 34 to 51 loss. Keziah Bin Sali had four, Emily Capstick six, Emerson Lambert four, Amelia Khuu four, Gabriella Pyne three, Tayla Naudi nine and, Shannyn Pomversbach four.

The under 15 men’s team won 56 to 47. Matthew Biletic had 13, Jeet Mann 10, Dion Street two, Sean Jakens 13, Mitchell Steacy two, Matthew Newell three, Jack Wagner five, Kevin Tingyendu six and Jack Lowes two. They have six wins and eight losses and are in fourth conference place out of six teams.

The under 15 women’s team were beaten by the Suns 29 to 65. Jessica Richardson had three, Paris McGuckin two, Alison McKelvie two, Breanna Goodson six, Lainey Stewart nine, Michelle Curro two and Kyra Law five. They are in fifth conference place after 12 games.

The under 16 men won in a tight encounter, 78 to 74. Lattrell Matthews scored 10, Jarrett Donker three, Beau Chaplin 22, Alex Bevilaqua five, Giordano Monteleone 28, Jacob Marr four and Yoseph Soliman six. They have nine wins and five losses and are in third conference place out of six teams.

The under 15 women’s team lost 27 to 92. They are in fifth conference place out of six teams with two wins and 12 losses. Samantha Tognolini continued with her strong form since returning from injury with 14, Rachael Goodger had two, Tereasa Maines played her usual strong game in scoring seven while Alicia Matrenza had four.

The under 18 Division Two men had a strong 97 to 64 win. They have two wins and 10 losses and are in fifth conference place out of six teams. Steve Maaskant had seven, Matthew Ramanah three, Alex Jacobsen five, Liam Briggs nine, Alex Guillon 18, Brad Smeaton seven, Giorgio Milio 13, Hasula Poogoda two and Logan Viskovich 23.

The under 18 Division One men lost 73 to 85, which sees them with no wins and 13 losses and in sixth conference place. Luke Fletcher had five, Charles Corr two, Darcy Smith four, Ashleigh Grigson one, Domenic Romeo four and Ben Ellis four.

The under 18 women are in fourth conference place out of five teams with five wins and seven losses after losing 54 to 66. Natasha Ziino had four, Bianca Parora seven, Jessica Hughes 15, Lori Ashworth four, Jessica Jakens 14, Tiarn Burtenshaw six and Caitlin Largue four.

The under 20 men’s team won 71 to 62. Dylan Murphy had 12, Filip Glisich four, Jamieson Lewis 11, Ashleigh Flynn one, Steven Vigor 13, Jake Whately 26 and Raphael Bianchinni four. They have six wins and five losses and are in third conference place out of six teams.

The Division One men’s team finds itself in third conference place out of six teams with 11 wins and six losses after they lost to the Suns 78 to 87. Jake Whately had eight, Tim Rendulic six, Michael Vigor 19, Joshua Guppy six, Dale Elliot 17, Jamieson Lewis nine and Blake Smith 13.

The Division One women lost to the Suns 47 to 59. Despite the loss they remain in top conference place out of six teams with 14 wins and two losses and two losses. Alix Hayward had six, Catherine Tinley three, Jessica Jakens 20, Gabby O’Sullivan nine and Jessica Hughes two.
